It is absolutely horrifying thinking what might happen to our country if we don't unite and stand against him.
You speak truth to power. One must educate themselves on fascism and how authoritarian regimes take power. You must be aware of the other Countries that have fallen victim so you see the blaring red flags as it plays out here in America. I have been watching and listening to see who will see the truth and emerge as leaders. You are one of them, Keith. You understand that those who continue to talk about rules, laws and norms are not getting it. Authoritarian regimes BREAK all of those while the politicians, mainstream media and citizens ramble on about them. That is how they take power.
We cannot rely on Congress or the judiciary to protect. It is up to the people and those who will continue to speak truth and keep their heads out of the sand when others choose to do so.
The first book recommendation is On Tyranny. I read it in 2017 and again the week after the election. I refer to it continually. I am happy to see that you keep this one close as well. Another good read that I am in the middle of: How Fascism Works by Jason Stanley.

Thanks Keith. I will not comply, not in advance or ever! Authoritarian governments are the weakest at the beginning and at the end. I will never believe that Trump won legitimately. There were way too many issues with the election. Why burn ballots boxes and have Russia call in bomb threats? Why were so many MAGA republicans able to challenge millions of ballots in swing states? Why not follow up and do recounts in swing states where people only voted for Trump in rural areas and nothing else? How did Elon know the results of the election four hours before anyone else? Why did we keep democratic Senators in all but one of the swing states? In North Carolina, where they didn’t have any senators up for reelection, they voted for an entirely democratic state executive government. Yet somehow Trump won all of the swing states? If any of these things happened to Trump he would have demanded recounts across the board.
I am also angry that our leaders have done nothing. Biden should’ve never run for a second term. He was always too old and a poor communicator. He left a vacuum that Trump filled. Biden has been acting like this was normal for the last four years. He has been slow to respond and hasn’t communicated the reason behind any crisis that we have faced. His DOJ was weak and dragged their feet. The Supreme should have been expanded. Why is no one stepping up to represent us? That’s what we elected them to do. They by no means have a mandate in the house or the senate. Trump didn’t even win 50% of popular vote. This is the time where real leaders need to come forward. This was not a normal election. We need our elected officials to stop acting like it was.
I too have a feeling about T being elected, but not just this time...both. Knowing how he tried alternate electors before, I trust his thugs figured something out this time. I worry how we will survive. Thank you for speaking out.
The Republicans in all swing States purged their voter rolls throughout 2021 to 2024. They even broke the law by purging voters 90 days before an election and was allowed to do it! They've been planning this legal coup for 4 years. I agree with you! This election was not normal 😐
